I am an Arizona native and I LOVE the desert (*primarily between the months of October and February. We all know how toasty it gets here)!

I grew up in the church and some of my earliest memories are from Awana and Sunday school. I was baptized at 13 and always wanted to be close to Jesus, but in high school the weight of different hurts and sins brought me to the end of everything I thought I knew about Him. Through the tension of confusion and doubt, the Lord kindly and faithfully re-built my understanding of who He is and what He invites us into. I am fully known and deeply loved by a Savior who pursues me in the middle of my doubt, pain, and sin. I’ll never get over the overwhelming goodness of it.

My life has been profoundly marked and shaped by the church and the people in it. We are broken and messy, and still we are welcomed into a narrative of redemption and restoration that was set into play the moment sin entered the world. It is my joy to participate in what God has invited us into here. To seek to love and serve the community around us in ways that echo the consideration and care of Jesus is something I am so glad I get to do!
