The 2021 Christmas Offering

November 30, 2021  |  Luke Simmons

The Christmas Offering has become an important annual tradition at Redemption Gateway. Each year we generously give over-and-above to support a number of great causes.

Gifts can be made any time between now and our Christmas Eve services on December 24.

Each cause this year will help help those in under-resourced communities find a place to belong.

#1: AZ Reach

AZ Reach is a ministry started by R/Alhambra pastoral resident, Juan Chavez, that goes into schools and creates small groups for young men and women to learn biblical principles for relationships and responsibility.

Now, they are taking the ministry to the next level by purchasing a Community House to provide an after-school place for these students to feel safe, loved, and secure.

#2: Immigrant Hope

Immigrant Hope is a ministry started by R/West Mesa that offers immigration-related legal advice and representation to the low-income immigrant community in Mesa and the Phoenix Metro Area.

Immigrant Hope is recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and offers low-cost legal services from a legal staff of DOJ Accredited Representatives who are trained and certified to provide quality advice and representation on immigration issues.

#3: Point Zero

Punto Zero (Point Zero) came to us through our partners at Missions Ministry in Juarez, we’ve discovered this organization that cares for about 60 patients who all have mental and physical needs.

Most are older, have been abandoned by their families, were homeless, and now been placed by the police, social services, or dropped off by others.

Our gift would help to provide a safe space large enough that staff could help patients with the bathroom/wheelchairs and showering, something separate for men and women.
