How can we talk to our kids about people of other faiths with both love and biblical honesty? The way we talk about people of other faiths tends to make two equal and opposite errors: 1) we can dehumanize others by speaking about them as though they aren’t full of dignity having been made in the image of God, or 2) we can ignore and/or minimize serious differences in moral visions for how humans are to live and relate to God.
At this event, we will listen to pastors and workers who live in the Muslim-majority nation of Turkey, among other local leaders, about what it looks like to parent, live, and work in a culture in which Christians are in the minority. Even if you aren’t a parent, join us for a free dinner that includes table discussions, teaching, and live panel Q&A.
